Filipino owned company Krave Cosmeceuticals has a new mineral makeup line that looks to be a nice addition to anyone’s beauty arsenal.
Krave’s Upgrade 12HD Liquid Foundation offers two shades, Honey and Almond. Honey seems to be a warmer shade than Almond, but the former may be a better fit for darker complexions.
I tried the Almond variant, and I must say that a little certainly goes a long way. With just one pump, I was able to dispense enough product to cover my face lightly. The oil-based product is light on the skin and easy to blend.
I first tried the product on my hand, and immediately I noticed a huge difference in shade! My face is a few shades lighter, though (don’t ask why) so in the end a single, light application gave me a smoother canvas for my makeup. I just wish the product comes with a shade that will really match my skin tone.
Krave’s Ultra Bright HD is a dark under eye and blemish whitening concealer. I got the Struffoli shade which is the lightest among the three available. The product is a nice light beige color, and it seems perfect for seriously concealing dark under eye circles. It’s pretty easy to blend on top of Krave’s foundation. I confess my poor hydration and sleeping habits result in reddish undereye circes, and this product is great as it makes my eyes pop! Can’t wait to try it with smokey eye shadows.
Krave’s Oil Eliminator HD is packed with vitamins and antioxidants to help improve skin complexion. It’s an oil control primer and finishing powder that you can apply by just dusting your face with the cute applicator or using your own powder brush. I’ve only tried it as a finishing powder, and I have found that the fine, white particles will have to be blended well with the rest of your makeup. Otherwise you might have an ugly white cast on your face.

HD Triplex Advanced mineral foundation with Licorice root & Japanese Green tea boasts fine particles that will generate light coverage on any face. The product comes in five shades and I was lucky to receive the French Latte one. It’s a light golden shade that, with just a bit of blending with another mineral powder I have in my arsenal, would give me an astonishing rose-tinged appearance.
